Account group fields
An account group lets one webhook signal trade several accounts: send the group name as the signal's account.
| Field | Type | Access | Constraints | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
id | string | R | Group id, assigned when it is created | |
name | string | W | 1 to 64 characters: letters, digits, spaces, _, . and -, starting with a letter or digit and not ending with a space. Unique per destination (not case-sensitive) and must not match one of your account names on that destination (409 group_name_conflict) | The name signals use |
destination | nt8 or tradovate | C (set on create only) | Cannot be changed (422 immutable_field). A PATCH that echoes the saved value is ignored | Which platform the group trades on |
accounts | array of strings | W | 1 to 100, no duplicates (not case-sensitive), no , ; or =. Spaces inside a name are fine; leading or trailing spaces, tabs, non-breaking spaces and other whitespace are refused | Accounts in the group. On nt8 they must match, exactly, accounts listed by your connected add-on (409 addon_disconnected when it is offline; Backtest and Playback101 are never accepted). On tradovate they must be active accounts on your linked Tradovate login, matched without regard to case and saved with Tradovate's spelling. Otherwise 404 account_not_found |
created | string (timestamp) or null | R | When the group was created | |
updated | string (timestamp) or null | R | When the group last changed |
You can have at most 50 groups across both destinations (409 group_limit_reached).
A create refuses id, created and updated (422 field_read_only). A PATCH may echo them back from a GET: they are ignored when they equal the saved values (updated always is) and refused when they differ.
Changes apply to the next incoming webhook signal.
