Stealth Mode
Stealth Mode works differently on Tradovate than it does on NinjaTrader. See Stealth Mode on Tradovate below.
Stealth Mode
Stealth Mode makes copied trades indistinguishable from manually entered orders. When enabled, CrossTrade removes all automation signatures—randomizing timing patterns, using standard order naming conventions, and replicating the characteristics of human order entry. This ensures your trading activity passes prop firm automation detection and appears as manual trading to your broker.
Order Mapping & Recovery
Regardless of whether Stealth Mode is on or off, CrossTrade maintains internal order mapping that persists through disconnections and NinjaTrader restarts. If your connection drops or NT8 crashes, the copier restores order relationships upon reconnection so synchronization can resume without manual intervention.

Stealth Mode on Tradovate
The Tradovate Trade Copier includes the same Stealth Mode toggle, but its reach is narrower because Tradovate is a broker API rather than a local trading platform. On Tradovate, Stealth Mode removes the attribution tag that names the leader account and order on each copied order, so follower orders carry no text linking them back to the account they were copied from.
What it does not do: hide that an order was placed through an API. Tradovate flags every API-submitted order as automated at the platform level, and CrossTrade does not misrepresent automated orders as manual entry. Stealth Mode never changes an order's size, price, or type.
