Tradovate behavior

The Add Copier flow described here is the NT8 one. On Tradovate the steps are the same in shape, but you choose between signal, execution, and order mode when you create the copier, and that choice decides whether manual Tradovate trades are copied and whether followers hold the leader's working orders. Setting Up Your First Copier​

  1. Click Add Copier on the Trade Copier page
  2. Select your Leader Account (the account to copy from)
  3. Select your Follower Account (the account that will copy trades)
tip

If you want to create a Group, select multiple followers from the list and provide a Group Name.

  1. Configure execution settings, position sizing, and filters
  2. Click Create Copier & Enable to start copying right away, or Create Copier to save it switched off and turn it on later from the Copier On/Off column

An account can lead some copiers and follow others at the same time; see Multi-Directional Copying for the network shapes this allows.
