Close Strategy

This command will close an ATM Strategy and requires a strategy ID value. The strategy ID value must match a strategy ID given to a strategy in the PLACE command. This command will close the specified strategy.

An ATM strategy instance managing a position before the command, and a flat account with that instance closed afterwards. Close strategy targets one ATM strategy by the id you gave it on the place command that opened it, rather than the account or the instrument, so anything else on the same account and instrument is left alone.

Scoped to one ATM strategy id, so anything else on the instrument keeps running.

Not available on Tradovate

closestrategy closes a NinjaTrader ATM strategy, and Tradovate has no ATM strategy concept. With destination=tradovate; the alert is rejected with a clear error. To exit on Tradovate, use closeposition or flatten.
