CrossTrade is the better choice when:
- NinjaTrader 8 is your primary platform
- You want the bundled $49 plan that includes copier + risk + API

- You want a REST API for your NT8 account
PickMyTrade is the better choice when:
- You're on Tradovate without NinjaTrader 8 in the mix
- You trade Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, or other PickMyTrade-supported brokers
- $50/mo flat for unlimited brokers and accounts is the simplest pricing for your setup

Frequently asked questions
Does PickMyTrade work with NinjaTrader 8?
PickMyTrade primarily targets Tradovate and IB users. They support Rithmic which can route to NT8 indirectly, but it's not a native NT8 integration like CrossTrade's Add-On. If NT8 is your main platform, CrossTrade's deeper integration is the better fit.
Is PickMyTrade cheaper than CrossTrade?
Depends on what you need. PickMyTrade is $50/mo flat. CrossTrade Standard is $24/mo (webhooks only). CrossTrade Pro is $49/mo (webhooks + copier + risk + API). For pure webhook automation, CrossTrade Standard is half the price. For the bundled feature set, CrossTrade Pro is roughly equal price with more included.
Which is faster. CrossTrade or PickMyTrade?
CrossTrade averages ~30ms alert-to-execution on NT8 via the WebSocket-to-Add-On architecture. PickMyTrade averages ~200ms via cloud-routed broker APIs. For scalpers and 5-minute-or-less strategies, the difference matters. For swing trading, both are fine.
Can I migrate my PickMyTrade alerts to CrossTrade?
Yes. CrossTrade's Automation Wizard includes a JSON Converter that accepts PickMyTrade payload format and translates it to CrossTrade syntax. Paste the JSON, click convert, done.
Does PickMyTrade support prop firms?
Yes. PickMyTrade markets prop firm support for Apex, Topstep, E8, and others through their broker integrations. CrossTrade also supports these firms when the firm offers NinjaTrader as a platform option, with deeper prop-firm-specific risk features.
What does PickMyTrade do better?
Broker breadth. If you trade Tradovate, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, and other brokers in one workflow, PickMyTrade gives you a single platform across all of them. CrossTrade is NT8-focused and does that integration deeper, but doesn't span as many brokers.
Will CrossTrade add the brokers PickMyTrade supports?
Tradovate is on the 2026 roadmap and will be included in the $24/mo Standard plan. Other brokers (IB, Robinhood) are not currently planned. If broker breadth is your top requirement, PickMyTrade remains the broader option.
Is there a free trial for either?
Both offer trials. CrossTrade has a 7-day free trial with full feature access including Pro features. PickMyTrade offers a 5-day free trial. Test both with your actual workflow before committing.
Want to try CrossTrade yourself?
Free 7-day trial. Full Pro features. No credit card required. See if the integration depth matches what you need.
