The XT Add-On: the engine behind everything
Every CrossTrade feature runs through the XT Add-On for NinjaTrader 8. It's a NinjaScript add-on that maintains a persistent WebSocket connection to CrossTrade's servers, enabling real-time bidirectional communication between your desktop and the cloud.
Inbound Execution
Receives and executes orders from webhooks, the REST API, and the Trade Copier. Supports market, limit, stop, and bracket orders with ATM strategy attachment.
Outbound Data
Exposes positions, orders, account balances, execution history, strategy state, and real-time quotes to the API and dashboard.
Auto-Reconnect
Monitors your broker connections and automatically restores them when they drop. Configurable delay, up to 5 retries, with Data Watchdog catching stale price feeds.
