Is Claude.ai web a good way to use CrossTrade for trading?
Yes, especially for non-developers. Zero install: sign in to claude.ai, add a Custom Connector, approve OAuth. Best for journal review, account inspection, and conversational debugging. For NinjaScript work (writing code that compiles), switch to Claude Code or Claude Desktop where the agent can edit local files.
Do I really need Claude.ai web, or can I use Claude Desktop / Claude Code?
All three Claude surfaces speak the same MCP. Same tool surface, same OAuth, same trading capabilities. Claude.ai web is the zero-install path. Desktop is a native app with a config-file option for power users. Code is for NinjaScript authoring. Pick by workflow style, not capability.
Do I need Pro or Max?
Free Claude works but is capped at 1 Custom Connector. Pro and Max have no documented cap. Team and Enterprise require an Owner to add the connector at the org level first, then members enable it per chat.
Can the connector be revoked?
Yes, from two places. Claude's Settings → Connectors removes it client-side, and your CrossTrade AI Clients page revokes the OAuth grant server-side. Either fully stops Claude from calling CrossTrade tools.
Does the connector follow me to mobile?
Yes. Custom Connectors are account-scoped, not device-scoped. Add once at claude.ai/customize/connectors and the connector appears in Claude Desktop, the iOS app, and any Claude surface signed in with the same account.
Can Claude.ai web place trades?
Yes, with the mcp:trade scope. Default to mcp:read first. When you upgrade scope, include a confirmation gate in your prompts ("restate the action and wait for me to type confirm before any write tool").
What about funded prop firm accounts?

Why does it show "beta"?
Anthropic flags Custom Connectors as in-beta across all Claude surfaces. Functionality is stable; the label reflects the still-evolving MCP spec. CrossTrade's connector works against all current spec versions (2025-03-26, 2025-06-18, 2025-11-25).
