How It Works

Three steps from TradingView alert to BluSky Trading order fill

Use the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On for Rithmic/NinjaTrader routes, or link an eligible Tradovate account for direct cloud routing with destination=tradovate. Verify that your specific BluSky Trading account can be linked and that BluSky Trading permits your intended automation.

STEP 01

Connect your account

Install the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On for a Rithmic/NinjaTrader route, or link an eligible Tradovate account for direct cloud routing without NT8.

STEP 02

Configure your TradingView alerts

Use the free XT Alert Builder indicator to format your webhook payload visually. No JSON required. Map entries, exits, and ATM brackets to dropdown menus.

STEP 03

Sync strategy state

CrossTrade tracks your TradingView strategy's intended position against your BluSky Trading account's actual fills. If they desync, auto-flatten reconciles before drawdown becomes a problem.

Rule Compliance

Every BluSky Trading rule, mapped to a CrossTrade safeguard

BluSky Trading's drawdown and risk rules fail more traders than the market does. CrossTrade enforces each rule at the platform level, so a strategy bug or a missed manual flatten is less likely to cost you the account.

BluSky Trading Rule
What It Means
CrossTrade Solution

EOD Trailing Drawdown (Propel $25K to $100K)

Trails your highest end-of-day balance

These Propel accounts use an end-of-day trailing drawdown. The minimum balance rises with your highest end-of-day balance and does not move back down, and falling to it at any point fails the evaluation.

โœ“ Account Manager

Track running drawdown floor per account. Auto-flatten when intraday equity approaches breach.

Static Drawdown (Propel $150K to $300K)

Fixed floor that never moves

Static accounts are easier to manage: your floor is calculated once and stays there. Most forgiving option for traders who hold trades through volatility.

โœ“ Account Manager

Set fixed loss thresholds matching your static account's drawdown amount. Auto-flatten before breach.

34% Consistency Rule

Single day can't exceed 34% of profit on most plans

Exceed the limit on a day (34% on Propel plans, 21% on the $300K, 50% on Launch plans, none on Orbit) and your profit target adjusts upward (you don't fail, but the bar moves).

โœ“ Account Manager

Set per-account profit cap thresholds. Auto-flatten when the day's P/L approaches 34% of total target.

15-Minute Pre-Close Rule

Auto-liquidate 15 minutes before market close

BluSky requires positions closed 15 minutes before market close. The platform's auto-liquidation is a backup, not a guarantee, manual close is required.

โœ“ End-of-Day Flatten

Schedule auto-flatten at 4:45 PM ET (or 4:30 PM ET for buffer). Configurable per account.

News Trading Allowed

BluSky permits news event trading (with risk responsibility)

Unlike most prop firms, BluSky allows news trading. Volatility windows are entirely the trader's responsibility.

โœ“ Strategy Sync

Track strategy state through news volatility. Auto-flatten when drawdown approaches breach during high-impact events.

Unlimited evaluations, up to 3 funded

Up to 3 funded at a time, including up to 2 Live Brokerage

BluSky allows any number of evaluation accounts and up to 3 funded accounts at a time. Running parallel accounts at different stages requires synchronized execution.

โœ“ Trade Copier

Mirror one master to every BluSky account you hold (the firm lists trade copiers as allowed). Any stage to any stage. Independent sizing per account.

Trade Copier

Copy one strategy across all your BluSky Trading accounts

BluSky Trading allows unlimited evaluation accounts and up to 3 funded accounts at a time, and its help center lists trade copiers as allowed. CrossTrade's Trade Copier mirrors a master account to followers with independent sizing, real-time desync detection, and execution validation on every order. On Tradovate accounts, the Tradovate trade copier does the same from our cloud, with your computer off.

  • Mirror one master to unlimited followers with per-account sizing
  • Auto-sync monitors and reconciles drift every 3 seconds
  • Execution validation flags any failed copy in real time
  • Run from any account type or stage

FAQ

Common questions about CrossTrade with BluSky Trading

Does BluSky Trading allow automated trading and webhooks?

BluSky's help center lists trade copiers as allowed on its evaluation and funded plans, and a BluSky blog post says automated trading with bots is allowed. BluSky's conduct policy prohibits using automated software (AI, ultra-high speed, bulk data entry) to unfairly influence outcomes, and copying trades from another trader, account, or signal provider. As with any prop firm, verify your account's current automation policy with BluSky Trading before going live, since rules can change and may differ by account type. CrossTrade works well for webhook-delivered signals and copy trading on accounts where automation is permitted.

How fast does CrossTrade send TradingView alerts to my BluSky Trading account?

On NinjaTrader routes, average alert-to-execution time is approximately 30 milliseconds end-to-end through the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On. Direct Tradovate uses cloud routing, and timing varies with network and Tradovate API conditions.

Can CrossTrade enforce BluSky Trading's drawdown and daily loss limits?

Yes. CrossTrade's Account Manager lets you configure trailing drawdown thresholds, daily loss limits, and trailing stop targets per account independently. When a limit triggers, CrossTrade flattens open positions and locks the account from new orders for the rest of the session, before BluSky Trading's auto-liquidation engine fires.

Will CrossTrade work with my BluSky Trading account platform?

CrossTrade supports two routes where the BluSky Trading account offers them: Rithmic/NinjaTrader through the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On, or an eligible linked Tradovate account through direct cloud routing with destination=tradovate and no Add-On. Verify that your specific BluSky Trading account can be linked and that BluSky Trading permits your intended automation.

Can I copy one trade across all my BluSky Trading accounts?

Yes, within BluSky's rules. CrossTrade's Trade Copier mirrors a single master account to unlimited followers with independent sizing per follower. BluSky's help center lists trade copiers as allowed and permits unlimited evaluation accounts and up to 3 funded accounts at a time, so you can run one strategy on a master and have it replicate across your own accounts, with sizing matched to each account's drawdown buffer. BluSky's conduct policy also prohibits copying trades from another trader, account, or signal provider, so confirm with BluSky how that applies to your setup. Never hold long and short positions in the same product at the same time across funded accounts; BluSky says the brokerage will permanently close accounts that do.

Does CrossTrade automatically flatten my BluSky Trading positions before session close?

Yes. The Account Manager includes a configurable end-of-day flatten time per account. BluSky Trading requires positions closed by 15 minutes before market close. Set CrossTrade to flatten 5 to 10 minutes earlier to provide buffer before the platform-level enforcement window.

Will using CrossTrade violate any BluSky Trading rule?

CrossTrade routes TradingView signals to supported NinjaTrader or linked Tradovate accounts and manages risk thresholds. Whether automation is permitted depends on BluSky Trading's current policy and your account type. Verify both before using automated signals or copying.

How much does CrossTrade cost on top of my BluSky Trading evaluation fee?

CrossTrade starts at $29 per month for the Standard plan with unlimited webhook alerts and unlimited NT8 accounts. The Pro plan is $49 per month and adds Trade Copier, Account Manager, and REST API access. Both plans include a free 7-day trial. CrossTrade billing is independent of any prop firm fees.

Does CrossTrade work during BluSky Trading evaluations or only on funded accounts?

Both, subject to account eligibility. CrossTrade supports BluSky Trading evaluation and funded accounts the same way; verify that your specific account can be linked and that BluSky currently permits automation. Technical compatibility does not override those rules. Many traders use the evaluation phase to validate their automation before moving to funded.

What happens if my TradingView strategy desyncs from my BluSky Trading account?

CrossTrade's Strategy Sync transmits your TradingView strategy's intended market position with every alert, not just buy/sell signals. If the intended state and the actual connected account position disagree, CrossTrade auto-flattens or auto-corrects based on your config. This prevents a missed exit fill from turning into a runaway loss past the trailing drawdown.
