Automate Lucid Trading with TradingView
CrossTrade connects your TradingView strategies to your LucidFlex, LucidPro, LucidDaily, and LucidDirect accounts. Lucid permits automated systems and trade copiers, so one strategy can run across the up to 5 funded accounts Lucid allows. Drawdown, daily loss, and close-out controls matched to your plan.
Three steps from TradingView alert to Lucid Trading order fill
Use the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On for NinjaTrader routes, or link your Lucid Tradovate login for direct cloud routing with destination=tradovate. Verify that your specific Lucid account can be linked and check Lucid's current rules for your plan.
Connect your account
Lucid's setup guide has new accounts sign in to Tradovate first, even if you plan to trade on NinjaTrader. Then install the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On for a NinjaTrader route, or link the Lucid Tradovate login for direct cloud routing without NT8.
Configure your TradingView alerts
Use the free XT Alert Builder indicator to format your webhook payload visually. No JSON required. Map entries, exits, and ATM brackets to dropdown menus.
Sync strategy state
CrossTrade tracks your TradingView strategy's intended position against your Lucid account's actual fills. If they desync, auto-flatten reconciles before drawdown becomes a problem.
Every Lucid Trading rule, mapped to a CrossTrade safeguard
Lucid's drawdown and risk rules fail more traders than the market does. CrossTrade enforces your limits per account, so a strategy bug or a missed manual flatten doesn't cost you the account.
EOD Max Loss Limit
$1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 on 25K / 50K / 100K / 150K. LucidDirect 100K and 150K: $3,500 / $5,000
On LucidPro, LucidFlex, and LucidDirect, the floor trails your highest end-of-session balance, then locks at your starting balance plus $100 once you pass the initial trail. Hitting the Max Loss Limit is a hard breach.
Set a drawdown threshold per account inside Lucid's floor. CrossTrade flattens and locks the account before the breach.
Intraday Drawdown (LucidDaily)
Required on LucidDaily funded accounts. The evaluation lets you choose intraday or EOD
Intraday drawdown moves the floor up with your real-time P&L. An open winner that round-trips can raise the floor before you ever close the trade.
Track the floor against live equity per account and flatten before it's reached.
Optional Daily Loss Limit
Chosen at purchase on LucidFlex, LucidPro, and LucidDaily. A soft breach
Hit Lucid's DLL and you're locked out until the next session, but the account survives. Buy the version without a DLL and nothing stops a bad day except the Max Loss Limit.
Set your own daily loss limit per account, whichever version you bought. Set it tighter than Lucid's and CrossTrade stops the day first.
4:45 PM ET Close-Out
LucidPro, LucidFlex, and LucidDirect. No overnight holding on sim accounts
Lucid closes any position still open at 4:45 PM ET. It isn't a failed account, but Lucid chooses your exit instead of you.
Set an end-of-day flatten a few minutes earlier on each account.
Red Folder News (LucidDaily)
Hard breach. Flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after U.S. high impact releases
Trading U.S. high impact red folder news in a LucidDaily funded account is a hard breach. On LucidFlex, LucidPro, and LucidDirect, news trading is allowed, and you own the slippage.
Schedule news-window blocks on your LucidDaily accounts, set wider than Lucid's window.
No Hedging Across Accounts
Your own accounts, other users' accounts, or other firms
Lucid bans opposite positions in the same or correlated contracts across accounts, such as long ES in one account and short NQ in another. Repeated offenses breach every account involved.
Followers copy the master's direction. Leave inversion off on Lucid accounts.
Up to 5 funded accounts
Plus up to 10 evaluations, 10 accounts total per household. Copiers permitted
Lucid permits automated systems and in-platform or third-party trade copiers. Running five funded accounts by hand means five order tickets for every trade.
Mirror one master to your other Lucid accounts, with independent sizing for each account's drawdown buffer.
Copy one strategy across all your Lucid Trading accounts
Lucid allows up to 5 active funded accounts and up to 10 active evaluations per household (10 accounts total), and it permits trade copiers. CrossTrade's Trade Copier mirrors a master account to followers with independent sizing, real-time desync detection, and execution validation on every order.
- Mirror one master to your other accounts with per-account sizing
- Auto-sync monitors and reconciles drift every 3 seconds
- Execution validation flags any failed copy in real time
- Keep inversion off: Lucid bans opposite positions across accounts
- Run from any account type or stage
Per-account risk controls with Lucid Trading's exact rule values
Set drawdown thresholds, daily loss limits, and end-of-day flatten times independently for each Lucid account. When a threshold hits, CrossTrade flattens positions and locks the account before Lucid's own limits do it for you. On linked Tradovate accounts, these monitors run on CrossTrade's servers even with your browser closed. On NinjaTrader routes, they run while the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On is connected.
- Drawdown tracking matched to your account size and plan
- Daily loss limits configured per-account independently
- Auto-flatten at session close, or earlier if you choose
- Scheduled disable on news days, holidays, or custom hours
- Per-account or grouped across multiple accounts

Common questions about CrossTrade with Lucid Trading
Does Lucid Trading allow automated trading and trade copiers?
Yes. Lucid's help center says automated trading systems and trade copiers are permitted on its evaluation and funded accounts, and its FAQ says in-platform and third-party trade copiers are allowed. All automated activity must still follow Lucid's rules, and you are responsible for any software errors or unintended outcomes. Lucid prohibits high-frequency trading, microscalping (more than 50% of profits from trades held 5 seconds or less), and hedging across accounts. Rules can change, so check Lucid's current rules before going live. CrossTrade works well for webhook-delivered signals and copying between your own accounts where automation is permitted.
How fast does CrossTrade send TradingView alerts to my Lucid Trading account?
On NinjaTrader routes, average alert-to-execution time is approximately 30 milliseconds end-to-end through the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On. Direct Tradovate uses cloud routing, and timing varies with network and Tradovate API conditions.
Can CrossTrade enforce Lucid Trading's drawdown and daily loss limits?
Yes. CrossTrade's Account Manager lets you configure trailing drawdown thresholds, daily loss limits, and trailing stop targets per account independently. Set them tighter than Lucid's, and when one triggers, CrossTrade flattens open positions and locks the account from new orders for the rest of the session. On linked Tradovate accounts, these monitors run on CrossTrade's servers even with your browser closed. On NinjaTrader routes, they run while the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On is connected.
Will CrossTrade work with my Lucid Trading account platform?
CrossTrade supports two routes. Lucid lists NinjaTrader, Tradovate, and TradingView as its CQG platforms, and its setup guide has you sign in to Tradovate with your Lucid credentials first. Use NinjaTrader 8 with the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On, or link your Lucid Tradovate login to CrossTrade (under Demo) for direct cloud routing with destination=tradovate and no Add-On. Lucid's Rithmic platforms, such as Sierra Chart, Quantower, and R|Trader Pro, are not CrossTrade routes. If your Lucid account is on Rithmic, check with Lucid whether it can connect in NinjaTrader 8 before you plan around CrossTrade.
Can I copy one trade across all my Lucid Trading accounts?
Yes. Lucid permits trade copiers, and CrossTrade's Trade Copier mirrors a single master account to followers with independent sizing per follower. Lucid allows up to 5 active funded accounts and up to 10 active evaluations per household, with no more than 10 accounts in total. Copy in the same direction only: Lucid prohibits hedging, including opposite positions across your own accounts and in correlated markets such as ES and NQ. CrossTrade only copies between your own accounts, and Lucid's Terms of Use prohibit trading on behalf of others.
Does CrossTrade automatically flatten my Lucid Trading positions before the daily close?
Yes. The Account Manager includes a configurable end-of-day flatten time per account. On LucidPro, LucidFlex, and LucidDirect, positions must be closed by 4:45 PM ET, and Lucid closes anything still open at that time. Lucid's sim accounts do not allow overnight holding. Set CrossTrade to flatten 5 to 10 minutes earlier so you choose the exit instead of Lucid. For LucidDaily and LucidLive, check Lucid's current trading hours for your account.
Will using CrossTrade violate any Lucid Trading rule?
Lucid's help center says automated trading systems and trade copiers are permitted, so routing TradingView signals to your own Lucid accounts is not the problem. What Lucid prohibits is in the trading itself: high-frequency trading, microscalping, hedging across accounts, trading red folder news on LucidDaily, and trading on behalf of other people. Check Lucid's current rules before using automated signals or copying.
How much does CrossTrade cost on top of my Lucid Trading evaluation fee?
CrossTrade starts at $29 per month for the Standard plan with unlimited webhook alerts and unlimited NT8 accounts. The Pro plan is $49 per month and adds Trade Copier, Account Manager, and REST API access. Both plans include a free 7-day trial. CrossTrade billing is independent of any prop firm fees.
Does CrossTrade work during Lucid Trading evaluations or only on funded accounts?
Both, subject to account eligibility. Lucid's automation policy covers its evaluation and funded accounts, and CrossTrade supports Lucid evaluation and funded accounts the same way. Verify that your specific account can be linked and check Lucid's current rules for your plan. LucidLive accounts are real brokerage accounts with their own onboarding agreement, so confirm with Lucid before automating one. Many traders use the evaluation phase to validate their automation before moving to funded.
What happens if my TradingView strategy desyncs from my Lucid Trading account?
CrossTrade's Strategy Sync transmits your TradingView strategy's intended market position with every alert, not just buy/sell signals. If the intended state and the actual connected account position disagree, CrossTrade auto-flattens or auto-corrects based on your config. This prevents a missed exit fill from turning into a runaway loss past the Max Loss Limit.
