Automate Tradeify with TradingView
CrossTrade connects your TradingView strategies to your Tradeify Growth, Select, and Lightning accounts. The Trade Copier mirrors to unlimited followers, covering the up to 5 funded accounts Tradeify allows. EOD trailing drawdown and daily loss limit enforcement built in.
Three steps from TradingView alert to Tradeify order fill
Use the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On with NinjaTrader 8 (logged in with your Tradeify Tradovate credentials), or link an eligible Tradovate account for direct cloud routing with destination=tradovate. Verify that your specific Tradeify account can be linked and that Tradeify permits your intended automation.
Connect your account
Install the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On in NinjaTrader 8 connected with your Tradeify Tradovate credentials, or link an eligible Tradovate account for direct cloud routing without NT8.
Configure your TradingView alerts
Use the free XT Alert Builder indicator to format your webhook payload visually. No JSON required. Map entries, exits, and ATM brackets to dropdown menus.
Sync strategy state
CrossTrade tracks your TradingView strategy's intended position against your Tradeify account's actual fills. If they desync, auto-flatten reconciles before drawdown becomes a problem.
Every Tradeify rule, mapped to a CrossTrade safeguard
Tradeify's drawdown and risk rules fail more traders than the market does. CrossTrade maps each rule to a safeguard you configure, so a strategy bug or a missed manual flatten is less likely to cost you the account.
EOD Trailing Drawdown
$1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 (Select), varies by family
Floor only updates at end of day but is enforced in real time. Hit it during the session and the account fails, even if you'd recover by close.
Track running drawdown floor per account. Auto-flatten when intraday equity approaches breach, regardless of when the trail recalculates.
Daily Loss Limit (Growth/Lightning/Select Daily)
Growth: $600/$1,250/$2,500/$3,750. Select Daily: $500/$1,000/$1,250/$1,750.
DLL is a soft breach, pauses trading for the day but doesn't fail the account. Select Flex has no DLL.
Configure DLL per account independently. Pre-flatten before the threshold to avoid slippage that could compound into a max drawdown breach.
4:45 PM ET position close
Holiday early close at 12:59 PM ET
Tradeify auto-closes positions at session end with no penalty, but relying on that is risky. Holiday early closes are easy to miss.
Schedule auto-flatten per account with calendar-aware logic. Holiday schedules baked in.
Consistency Rule
Select: 40%. Growth: no eval consistency, 35% funded.
Select requires 3+ trading days during eval (40% rule). Growth can pass in 1 day during eval but introduces 35% consistency once funded.
Set per-account profit caps that match the consistency rule. CrossTrade flattens when the day's P/L approaches the threshold.
Tier 1 News Trading Allowed
No news-trading restrictions, at your own risk
Tradeify is one of the few firms that allows Tier 1 news trading. The catch: bigger volatility means bigger drawdown swings.
Strategy state tracking handles news-event volatility cleanly. Auto-flatten when drawdown approaches breach during volatile windows.
Up to 5 funded accounts
Per person and per household, any mix of account families
You can hold up to 5 simulated funded accounts at once in any mix of Growth, Select, and Lightning. Copying is allowed only between accounts you own. Manual coordination across mixed account families is impractical.
Mirror one master to unlimited followers, with sizing matched to each of Tradeify's up to 5 accounts and their drawdown buffer.
Copy one strategy across all your Tradeify accounts
Tradeify permits up to 5 funded accounts and allows copying only between accounts you own. CrossTrade's Trade Copier mirrors a master account to followers with independent sizing, real-time desync detection, and execution validation on every order. On Tradovate accounts, the Tradovate trade copier does the same from our cloud, with your computer off.
- Mirror one master to unlimited followers with per-account sizing
- Auto-sync monitors and reconciles drift every 3 seconds
- Execution validation flags any failed copy in real time
- Run from any account type or stage
Per-account risk controls with Tradeify's exact rule values
Set drawdown thresholds, daily loss limits, and end-of-day flatten times independently for each Tradeify account. When a threshold hits, CrossTrade flattens positions and locks the account before Tradeify's liquidation engine does it for you.
- Drawdown tracking matched to your account size and plan
- Daily loss limits configured per-account independently
- Auto-flatten at session close, or earlier if you choose
- Scheduled disable on news days, holidays, or custom hours
- Per-account or grouped across multiple accounts

Common questions about CrossTrade with Tradeify
Does Tradeify allow automated trading and webhooks?
Yes, with conditions. Tradeify allows bots and algorithms only if you are the sole owner of the strategy, no one else has access to or uses it, you do not use it at other prop firms, and it is not a high-frequency bot. Tradeify may ask you to prove ownership, including a live video of you enabling the code on your own PC. Copy trading is allowed only between accounts you own and manage. CrossTrade is built for webhook alerts from your own TradingView strategy, not signals bought from or shared with others. Verify Tradeify's current rules before going live.
How fast does CrossTrade send TradingView alerts to my Tradeify account?
On NinjaTrader routes, average alert-to-execution time is approximately 30 milliseconds end-to-end through the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On. Direct Tradovate uses cloud routing, and timing varies with network and Tradovate API conditions.
Can CrossTrade enforce Tradeify's drawdown and daily loss limits?
Yes. CrossTrade's Account Manager lets you configure trailing drawdown thresholds, daily loss limits, and trailing stop targets per account independently. When a limit triggers, CrossTrade flattens open positions and locks the account from new orders for the rest of the session. Set your thresholds inside Tradeify's limits so CrossTrade acts before Tradeify's auto-liquidation does. Tradovate monitoring runs server-side; NT8 monitoring needs the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On connected.
Will CrossTrade work with my Tradeify account platform?
CrossTrade works with Tradeify's Tradovate-based accounts through two routes: NinjaTrader 8, logged in with your Tradeify Tradovate credentials, through the CrossTrade NT8 Add-On, or an eligible linked Tradovate account through direct cloud routing with destination=tradovate and no Add-On. Tradeify does not allow NinjaTrader on its Rithmic-based accounts (Tradesea, Quantower, Sierra Chart, R|Trader) or WealthCharts accounts, so CrossTrade has no route to those. Verify that your specific Tradeify account can be linked and that Tradeify permits your intended automation.
Can I copy one trade across all my Tradeify accounts?
Yes, if every account is yours. CrossTrade's Trade Copier mirrors a single master account to unlimited followers with independent sizing per follower. Tradeify permits up to 5 simulated funded accounts per person and per household, and you can run one strategy on a master and have it replicate across all of them, with sizing matched to each account's drawdown buffer. Tradeify allows copy trading only between accounts you own and manage, prohibits copying trades with any other person, and says third-party trade copiers are used at your own risk.
Does CrossTrade automatically flatten my Tradeify positions before session close?
Yes. The Account Manager includes a configurable end-of-day flatten time per account. Tradeify requires positions closed by 4:45 PM ET (12:59 PM ET on holiday early-close days). Set CrossTrade to flatten 5 to 10 minutes earlier to provide buffer before the platform-level enforcement window.
Will using CrossTrade violate any Tradeify rule?
CrossTrade routes TradingView signals to supported NinjaTrader or linked Tradovate accounts and manages risk thresholds. Tradeify allows automation only for a strategy you solely own and do not share or use at other firms, with no high-frequency trading, and copying only between your own accounts. Tradeify also says no trading technology exempts a trader from its rules. Verify Tradeify's current rules before using automated signals or copying.
How much does CrossTrade cost on top of my Tradeify evaluation fee?
CrossTrade starts at $29 per month for the Standard plan with unlimited webhook alerts and unlimited NT8 accounts. The Pro plan is $49 per month and adds Trade Copier, Account Manager, and REST API access. Both plans include a free 7-day trial. CrossTrade billing is independent of any prop firm fees.
Does CrossTrade work during Tradeify evaluations or only on funded accounts?
Both, subject to account eligibility. CrossTrade supports Tradeify evaluation and funded accounts the same way; verify that your specific account can be linked and that Tradeify currently permits automation. Technical compatibility does not override those rules. Many traders use the evaluation phase to validate their automation before moving to funded.
What happens if my TradingView strategy desyncs from my Tradeify account?
CrossTrade's Strategy Sync transmits your TradingView strategy's intended market position with every alert, not just buy/sell signals. If the intended state and the actual connected account position disagree, CrossTrade auto-flattens or auto-corrects based on your config. This prevents a missed exit fill from turning into a runaway loss past the trailing drawdown.
