The CrossTrade LLC Affiliate Program is a tiered, progression-based referral system operated entirely in-house by CrossTrade. The Program rewards affiliates with recurring commissions for promoting CrossTrade products and services.
The Program consists of three tiers:
Starter — Open to all active CrossTrade members. Enrollment is instant via the CrossTrade dashboard. Affiliates at this tier earn 10% recurring commissions on referred subscriptions for a duration of 2 years per referral. Tracking is link-based only (no promo codes).
Active — Automatically promoted when a Starter affiliate reaches 10 active referred subscribers. Active affiliates earn 15% recurring commissions for a duration of 3 years per referral. Tracking remains link-based.
Partner — Available by application only after an Active affiliate reaches 25 active referred subscribers. CrossTrade reviews the applicant's website, social media presence, or content platform before approval. Partner affiliates earn 20% recurring commissions with lifetime duration (no expiration). Partners receive a personalized promo code that provides a discount to referred users at checkout.
By participating in the CrossTrade LLC Affiliate Program, you acknowledge and agree that:
1. The Program is operated entirely by CrossTrade LLC. All affiliate tracking, commission calculation, and payout processing are handled through the CrossTrade platform.
2. Your participation in the Program is subject to these terms and conditions, which may be amended at CrossTrade's discretion.
3. Tier promotions and commission rates are determined by CrossTrade based on the criteria described above and may be adjusted with notice.
1. Enrollment & Eligibility
1.1. The CrossTrade Affiliate Program ("Program") is open to all current, active CrossTrade members in good standing.
1.2. Enrollment as a Starter affiliate is available to any eligible member through the CrossTrade dashboard. No application or approval is required for the Starter tier.
1.3. Promotion to the Active tier occurs automatically when an affiliate reaches the required threshold of active referred subscribers, as determined by CrossTrade.
1.4. The Partner tier requires a formal application submitted through the CrossTrade dashboard. CrossTrade reviews each application and reserves the right to approve or deny Partner applications at its sole discretion. Partner approval requires:
(a) A verifiable, live website, YouTube channel, active social media profile, or other public content platform that CrossTrade can review. The platform must demonstrate active content creation or community engagement related to trading.
(b) If the applicant promotes through a Discord server, Telegram group, or similar community, an active invite link must be provided so CrossTrade can verify the community. Private or inaccessible communities do not satisfy this requirement.Affiliates who do not meet both applicable requirements will not be approved for the Partner tier. CrossTrade may request additional information or access during the review process.
1.5. By enrolling in the Program, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions as well as any other policies published by CrossTrade.
2. Referral Tracking & Self-Promotion
2.1. Starter and Active affiliates are tracked via unique referral links. Commissions are attributed when a new user signs up through the affiliate's referral link.
2.2. Partner affiliates receive a personalized promo code in addition to their referral link. Commissions are attributed when a new user either signs up through the Partner's referral link or enters their promo code during checkout.
2.3. Self-promotion for the purpose of receiving a discounted rate on your own CrossTrade subscription is strictly prohibited. Using your own referral link or promo code to purchase or renew your personal subscription, or otherwise attempting to manipulate the Program's commission structure, is grounds for immediate termination from the Program and forfeiture of all unpaid commissions.
3. Referral Qualifications
3.1. A “Qualified Referral” is an individual who:
Has not previously held a CrossTrade account. Completes a purchase (monthly or yearly subscription) using your unique affiliate promo code.
3.2. CrossTrade reserves the right to deny credit for any referral if there is reasonable suspicion of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.
3.3. In cases where you refer someone but do not get credited, CrossTrade will investigate. However, please note that referrals only count for new users who have never registered a CrossTrade account, and the affiliate code must be used at checkout.
4. Commission Structure & Payment
4.1. Commission rates and duration caps are determined by the affiliate's current tier:
Starter: 10% recurring commission, 2-year duration per referral
Active: 15% recurring commission, 3-year duration per referral
Partner: 20% recurring commission, lifetime duration (no expiration)
4.2. "Duration" refers to the period following a referred subscriber's initial purchase during which the affiliate earns commissions on that subscriber's renewals. After the duration cap expires, commissions on that referral cease, even if the subscriber remains active. Partner affiliates have no duration cap.
4.3. Commissions are paid out on the 15th day of each month for commissions earned during the previous calendar month, subject to a minimum payout threshold of $50 USD.
4.4. Payouts are made via PayPal. Affiliates are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate PayPal payment details.
4.5. Tax Documentation Required. Before any payout is issued, affiliates must submit the appropriate tax documentation through the CrossTrade dashboard:
- U.S. persons: IRS Form W-9 (or equivalent digital submission)
- Non-U.S. individuals: IRS Form W-8BEN (or equivalent digital submission)
No commissions will be paid until the required tax form is on file. CrossTrade will issue IRS Form 1099-NEC to U.S. affiliates and Form 1042-S to non-U.S. affiliates as required by law. Affiliates are solely responsible for reporting affiliate income and paying applicable taxes in their jurisdiction.
4.6. W-8BEN forms are valid for three (3) years from the date of signature. Non-U.S. affiliates must re-submit an updated W-8BEN before the prior form expires to continue receiving payouts.
4.7. If a referral requests a refund or initiates a chargeback, the corresponding commission will be reversed. If a commission has already been paid out, the reversal will be deducted from future payouts.
4.8. Cancellation Ends Attribution. If a referred subscriber cancels their subscription or initiates a cancellation request, the affiliate's attribution to that referral ends immediately. No further commissions will be earned on that subscriber's account, regardless of whether the subscriber later reactivates, accepts a retention offer, or resumes payment under the same or a new subscription. Commissions already earned and paid prior to the cancellation event are not affected.
5. Prohibited Activities
5.1. Affiliates may not engage in any deceptive, fraudulent, or unethical marketing practices, including but not limited to:
- Spam (unsolicited email or messaging)
- Misrepresentation of CrossTrade's products, services, or pricing
- Offering unauthorized discounts or coupons not explicitly provided by CrossTrade
- Bidding on CrossTrade brand terms (e.g., "CrossTrade," "crosstrade.io") in paid search advertising
- Cookie stuffing, click fraud, or any form of artificial attribution
5.2. Affiliates may not use their own referral links or promo codes to receive discounts or commissions on their own subscription. If such activity is detected, CrossTrade reserves the right to revoke all commissions and terminate the affiliate's participation immediately.
5.3. Partner affiliates may not distribute their promo code in a manner that implies an official partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement by CrossTrade beyond the affiliate relationship, unless explicitly authorized in writing by CrossTrade.
6. Tier Changes & Inactivity
6.1. CrossTrade reserves the right to promote, demote, or adjust an affiliate's tier at any time based on performance, compliance, or program changes.
6.2. Starter and Active affiliates who have zero active referred subscribers for a continuous period of 12 months may be moved to inactive status. Inactive affiliates may reactivate their account through the CrossTrade dashboard.
6.3. Partner affiliates are not subject to inactivity-based deactivation
6.4. If an affiliate is demoted to a lower tier, the commission rate and duration cap of the new tier will apply to all future referrals. Existing referrals will continue to earn at the rate and duration that were in effect at the time of the original referral.
7. Liability & Indemnification
7.1. CrossTrade will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages (or any loss of revenue, profits, or data) arising in connection with the Program.
7.2. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CrossTrade from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to your participation in the Program or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
8. Liability & Indemnification
8.1. CrossTrade will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages (or any loss of revenue, profits, or data) arising in connection with the Program.
8.2. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CrossTrade from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to your participation in the Program or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
9. Relationship of Parties
9.1. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall be construed to create any partnership, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between you and CrossTrade.
9.2. You have no authority to make or accept any offers, representations, or commitments on CrossTrade's behalf.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
10.1. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10.2. Any disputes arising under or relating to the Program shall be resolved in accordance with the arbitration and dispute resolution provisions set forth in CrossTrade's Terms of Service.
11. Acceptance & Updates
11.1. By joining the Program, you acknowledge you have read and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
11.2. CrossTrade may update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Your continued participation in the Program following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
